Trading 212 CSV import

Written by Niklas Klamm

To transfer your Trading 212 transactions to Parqet, export them as a CSV file and then upload it to Parqet.

In Trading 212, you can either create a new CSV file or download previously generated CSV files again. We explain both options below.

Create a new CSV file

To create a new CSV file, follow these steps. We’ll show you the process in the Trading 212 mobile app. Since the interfaces barely differ, it works the same way in the web app.

Step 1: In the bottom navigation bar, tap the menu icon (three lines) on the far right. Then select History to open the overview of your transactions at Trading 212.

Step 2: Once History is open, tap the file icon in the top right to open the Trading 212 CSV export.

Step 3: The Export history window opens. Select the time frame for your transactions here. If you want to import the CSV file into a new portfolio, it’s best to select a period starting from when you opened your account. This makes sure the CSV file contains all transactions. Make sure all four data points (Orders, Dividends, Transactions, Interest) are checked, and then tap Export CSV.

Step 4: Trading 212 now creates your CSV file. This may take a moment. You can close the window or leave it open. If you close it, Trading 212 notifies you as soon as the file is ready. If you leave the window open, the notification appears in the top right of the screen after a short time. Tap Download there to download the file.

Download previously generated CSV files again

To download a previously generated CSV file again, tap Last export in the Export history window. An overview of the CSV files you’ve created so far opens. Tap one of the files to download it again.

Last step: Import the file into Parqet

Drag the downloaded file into your portfolio.

That’s it! This is how you import your Trading 212 activities into Parqet to track your performance, allocation, dividends, value development and much more.
