Integrations: Connect Parqet to ChatGPT, Claude and other apps

Find and connect an integration and change its permissions, with instructions for ChatGPT, Claude, Trade Republic and Scalable Capital

Written by Niklas Klamm

You can use integrations on every plan. With Basic you can connect up to 2 integrations, with Plus 5 and with Investor 20.

An integration is an app that works with your Parqet data. Examples are AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude or the Portfolio Rebalancer. You decide which portfolios an integration may access.

Read-only and write-enabled integrations

  • Read-only integrations see your portfolios and their contents. They don’t change anything.

  • Write-enabled integrations can create activities. This only works in portfolios you’ve granted write access to.

For trying out a write-enabled integration, we recommend a separate portfolio. That way your maintained portfolios stay unchanged.

Find an integration

  1. In the sidebar, click “Integrations”.

  2. Choose an integration from the list or search for it.

  3. On the detail page, read what the integration does, who provides it and which data it needs.

“Parqet Integrations” page with the lists “Most installed” and “New integrations”, including ChatGPT, Claude and Portfolio Rebalancer

The detail page also has the instructions for connecting. In the Parqet mobile app, tap “More” and then “Integrations”. Under “My installations” you’ll see your connected integrations.

Connect an integration

The exact steps are on the integration’s detail page. It always works like this:

  1. Start the connection, for example with “Install” or with “Connect with Parqet” in the provider’s app.

  2. Log in to Parqet.

  3. Choose the portfolios the integration may access.

  4. Confirm the access.

You’ll then return to the provider’s app. The integration is now connected.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. Click “Connect”.

  2. Log in to Parqet.

  3. Choose the portfolios ChatGPT may see and confirm.

In the chat, type “@Parqet” before your question, for example: “@Parqet How much in dividends have I received this year?”

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open the settings under “Connectors”.

  2. Click “Add custom connector”.

  3. Enter “Parqet” as the name and “https://mcp.parqet.com” as the MCP Server URL.

  4. Click “Advanced settings” and enter the OAuth Client ID from the instructions on the Claude detail page in Parqet. Leave “Client Secret” empty.

  5. Click “Add” and then “Connect” next to the connector.

  6. Log in to Parqet, choose the portfolios and click “Authorize”.

  7. Start a new chat.

For Perplexity and Mistral, the instructions are on their detail pages.

Connect Trade Republic or Scalable Capital to ChatGPT

Trade Republic and Scalable Capital don’t have an open interface for AI tools. That’s why you connect your brokerage account via Parqet:

  1. Bring your brokerage account into Parqet with Autosync. The instructions are in Trade Republic Autosync and Scalable Capital Autosync.

  2. Connect Parqet to ChatGPT or Claude as described above.

ChatGPT and Claude only talk to Parqet, never directly to your broker. They don’t see your broker login details. The data is as up to date as your last Autosync. So run Autosync before you ask your question.

Change permissions or remove an integration

  1. Open app.parqet.com/profile and go to the “Integrations” section.

  2. Click the integration.

  3. Click “Edit permissions” to change portfolios and read or write access.

This is also where you remove an integration. After that, it can no longer access your data. Data the provider has already stored is up to the provider.

What data does an integration see?

An integration only sees the shared portfolios and their contents. It doesn’t see your name, payment details or addresses. With AI assistants, the agreement covering your chats is between you and the AI provider. Check the privacy settings there.
