The “Currency” analysis shows you how your securities are spread across currencies. This lets you see your currency risk.
Where can I find the currency analysis?
Open your portfolio.
Click “Analysis” on the left.
Open the “Allocation” tab.
Under “More allocations”, click the “Currency” tab.
The currency analysis is available on the web and in the mobile app. You need a Plus or Investor subscription for it.
How does Parqet determine the currency?
Parqet derives the currency from a security’s countries. Each country counts with its national currency. Germany and France, for example, count as EUR, the US as USD and Switzerland as CHF.
The trading currency doesn’t count. If you buy a US stock in euros, it still counts as USD.
For ETFs and funds, Parqet uses the fund’s country breakdown. A global ETF is therefore spread across several currencies, for example USD, EUR and JPY.
Which positions count toward the currency analysis?
The currency analysis only shows securities, i.e., everything with an ISIN or WKN.
Cash, cryptocurrencies, real estate and other assets don’t count.
Sold positions don’t count.
The percentages refer to the value of your securities, not the value of your entire portfolio.
What does “Other” mean?
If Parqet doesn’t know a security’s countries, its value appears under “Other”. This also applies to the part of an ETF for which no country data is available. You can read more about this in the article X-Ray shows incomplete or outdated data.
If country data is missing for a security, contact us via our contact form (topic “Data (Prices, News, Logos, Sectors)”). Include the ISIN or WKN.
