You can use the performance map for the market on every plan. The performance map for your portfolio is available with a Plus or Investor subscription.
The performance map (also called treemap) shows many values as tiles. The size of a tile shows its weight. The color shows the performance: green stands for gains, red for losses. Tiles from the same sector are grouped together.
Performance map for the market
Click “Markets” in the sidebar.
Scroll to the “Performance map”.
The map shows today’s performance of the largest stocks worldwide. The size of a tile is the market capitalization. Parqet calculates today’s performance from the current price compared with yesterday’s closing price (Xetra, 5:30 p.m.).
Performance map for your portfolio
Open your portfolio or a view.
Click “Analysis” in the sidebar.
Open the “Returns” tab.
Scroll below the heatmap to the “Performance map”.
Above the map, you can set:
Size: “Current value” or “Purchase value” of your holdings
Period: for example today, 1 week, 1 month, YTD (year to date) or since buy
Logos: shows the logos on the tiles
The color shows the return of each holding in the selected period.
How does Parqet group the tiles?
Stocks: by their sector
ETFs and funds with several sectors: in the “Other” group
Crypto, precious metals and other assets: a separate group for each asset class
The performance map doesn’t show cash or sold holdings.
Why does a tile look pale even though it rose sharply?
The color scale is based on the biggest outlier on the map. If one holding is at +500%, another holding at +100% looks paler. The values themselves are shown on the tiles.
