Which Parqet widgets are available, what your plan includes and how to set them up

With the Parqet widgets, you see your portfolio directly on your smartphone’s home screen. You don’t need to open the app for this.

Which widgets are available?

  • Portfolio overview: value, gain and return in the selected time period, with a chart.

  • Portfolio overview with dividends: also shows your received dividends. This widget shows no chart.

  • Biggest winner: your position with the best performance in the selected time period.

  • Biggest loser: your position with the weakest performance in the selected time period.

  • News Feed: current news about your holdings.

On iPhone, the News Feed comes in medium and large sizes. The other widgets come in small size.

Which widgets are included in my plan?

You can use the portfolio overview and the News Feed on any plan, including Basic.

For the widgets with dividends, biggest winner and biggest loser, you need a Plus or Investor subscription. Without a subscription, they show “Unlock with subscription”.

On Android, portfolios your plan doesn’t cover are grayed out in the widget settings.

What do I need for the widgets?

  • The Parqet app. You need to be logged in to the app.

  • At least iOS 17.2 or Android 8.0.

The images don’t show the asset class selection. You’ll find it in the widget settings below the other fields.

If you don’t select a portfolio on iPhone, the widget shows your first portfolio.

For the News Feed, you only select portfolios. If you don’t select any, the widget shows all news.

How often does the widget update?

  • iPhone: about every 15 minutes. The News Feed updates about every 10 minutes.

  • Android: about every 30 minutes.

Your operating system may delay updates.

  • “Open the Parqet app to activate the widget.” Open the Parqet app and log in.

  • “Edit the widget and select a portfolio.” Edit the widget and select at least one portfolio.

  • “No holdings found in portfolio.” Check the asset classes in the widget settings. If an asset class isn’t selected, it’s also missing from the total.

  • Android: The widget is often offline or outdated. Turn off battery optimization for Parqet. In the widget settings, you’ll find a note about this and the “Go to Settings” button.

Does the widget adapt to dark mode?

Yes. The widget follows your smartphone’s light or dark setting. On iPhone, you can also use the widgets in StandBy mode.
