What can I do if the wrong dividend amount is shown?

Written by Niklas Klamm

By default, Parqet shows dividends net, meaning the amount minus taxes and fees from your dividend activity. Gross is the amount before taxes and fees. You can switch to gross per portfolio or view:

  • Open the portfolio or view and click the “Settings” gear icon in the top right.

  • In the “Display & Calculation” section, under “Dividends”, uncheck “Show net dividends”.

  • Click “Save changes”.

More on this, including dividend yield: Net dividend, dividend yield and yield on cost.

In the dividend calendar and under “Announced dividends” in your portfolio's Dividends tab, Parqet always shows dividends gross. The setting has no effect there. We don't know your taxes and tax allowances, and we don't know which taxes and fees your broker or the country of origin withholds.

Dividends that aren't paid in the target currency (the currency of the portfolio or of the dividend calendar) are converted into the target currency. For this, we use the respective exchange rate of the day, and for future dividends, the current exchange rate.
