Overview: show all portfolios together

Written by Niklas Klamm

The Overview combines all your portfolios. It shows metrics, performance and charts across all portfolios.

With Basic, you have one portfolio. You only need the Overview once you have several portfolios, i.e. with a Plus or Investor subscription.

Open the Overview

There are two ways:

  • Click the portfolio picker at the top left and select “Overview”.

  • In the sidebar, open “Portfolios & views” and click “Overview”.

You can also open the Overview in the mobile app.

New portfolios

New portfolios automatically appear in the Overview. This applies as long as the Overview has no portfolio filter.

ATTENTION: If you've checked individual portfolios in the “Portfolio” filter, the Overview only shows these portfolios. A new portfolio is then missing. Check it in the filter and click “Save”.

A portfolio or an asset class is missing

Then a filter is active. Here's how to check:

  1. Open the Overview.

  2. Look next to the search field at the top. An active filter appears there as a field, for example “Portfolios: 3” or “Asset classes: 7”.

  3. Click “×” on the field to remove the filter.

  4. Open the “Save” menu at the top right and click “Save”.

“Add filter” menu next to the search field with the options Portfolio, Asset class, Product type, Holding and Status

With “Add filter”, you can hide portfolios, sub-accounts, asset classes or individual holdings. Filtering by sub-account works in every plan. All other filters are available with a Plus or Investor subscription.

See all portfolios side by side

In the sidebar, open “Portfolios & views”. There you see each portfolio with its value and return for the selected period. You can change the order by drag & drop.

Same security in several portfolios

If you hold a security in several portfolios, the Overview shows it in one row. This applies to securities, cryptocurrencies and precious metals. Click the row. It expands and shows the holding from each portfolio with its own values.

If you want to see each holding separately, turn off grouping:

  1. Open the Overview.

  2. At the top right, click the gear icon “Settings”.

  3. Under “Display & calculation” › “Dashboard”, uncheck “Group holdings by assets”.

  4. Click “Save changes”.

View settings of the Overview, section “Display & calculation” with the option “Group holdings by assets” under “Dashboard”

Compare the Overview with a portfolio

  1. Open the Overview.

  2. On the dashboard, open the “Performance” tab.

  3. Below the chart, click “Compare with...”.

  4. Select “Portfolio” or “View”, and then the portfolio or view.

“Compare with...” menu below the performance chart with the entries Asset, Portfolio and View

The comparison is available with a Plus or Investor subscription. Learn more: Performance chart: include gains, choose TTWROR and compare
