The Amundi MSCI World ETF (ISIN: LU1781541179, WKN: LYX0YD) was merged with an Irish ETF at the end of February 2025. Parqet takes this merger into account automatically if the “old” ETF (LYX0YD) is in your brokerage account. Because the fund domicile changes from Luxembourg to Ireland with this merger, investors in Germany are treated as if they had sold and bought again.
Example: Amundi ETF merger at ING
Brokers handle this merger in quite different ways – here’s a concrete example of how ING handles it. On February 26, 2025, there was a trade confirmation (sell) as part of the taxable exchange, dated February 25, 2025. In this case, selling the ETF realized a gain of €4,639.92. This resulted in tax of €597.92, which was debited directly from the reference account at ING.

In Parqet, you can import this sell document (manually via file import or via Autosync), and the corresponding gains and taxes are recognized automatically.
ING then also sent a document about the transfer in of the new ETF shares (ISIN: IE000BI8OT95, WKN: ETF146). However, this document doesn’t include an entry price (your price per share, excluding fees).

Adjust the entry price
Parqet automatically books in the new ETF shares at a ratio of 1:0.145113. Parqet carries over the entry value from the old ETF: the new entry price is the old one divided by 0.145113. Because the merger counts as a sale for tax purposes, your broker often shows a different entry price. To fix this, log in to your broker (here: ING) and look up your entry price in your brokerage account. In this case, the entry price is €136.011397.
Then edit the “Transfer in” activity in Parqet so that its entry price matches your broker’s:
To do this, click the “Price” field and enter your entry price.
Now save the activity, and that’s it! 🥳
